Telmary

The singer and composer Telmary just released a new hot video of her song Como se pone La Habana, a sort of tribute to the city that saw her born 41 years ago.

The song is included in the album Fuerza Arará, by Producciones Colibrí, who won the prize for best work in the urban music category of Cubadisco 2018.

The author of ¡Qué equivoca’o! wanted to put an image to this composition, in which he recounts the special moments “de la noche a la mañana” that has aroused the capital of Cuba like  many international figures visiting it, such as the Kardashians, Beyonce, Rihanna, the Rolling Stones and the team of the Fast and Furious film saga.

“La Habana se pone malísima, riquísima; de aquí nadie se va sin saber lo que es bailar (EN: Havana is very bad, very rich; from here nobody goes without knowing what it is to dance, ) ” raps Telmary, while behind her images of the city follow each other.

The song is performed together with the Habana Sana band, which fuses rap, soul, jazz and funk with a musical base of Afro-Cuban sounds.

The video was directed by Gabriel Alemán.
