ESTRENO: “Stop me from falling”, Gente de Zona and Kylie Minogue, New Collaboration
The Cuban duo Gente de Zona continues to accumulate collaborations and achieve success in their career. The reguetoneros have shown their contagious rhythm and their already world-renowned ‘enjoyment’ again but this time in one of the songs that can be found on the last record of the consecrated Australian singer Kylie Minogue.
Kylie announced this week the premiere of the new version of “Stop Me From Falling“, the second single from her album Golden, which features a remix by Gente de Zona.
As it became known last month, when some images of the set were leaked, the video clip was filmed in the ‘locaciones obligadas’ of Old Havana and Centro Havana (ES: La Habana Vieja y Centro Habana) and almost from the beginning it becomes a street party as demanded by a video filmed in Cuba.
The pop star was also encouraged to say several phrases in Spanish such as “Gente de Zona”, “No digas que no, que tú también lo quieres”, “Si por ti muero yo”, “Yo quiero mi vida contigo”. The “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” performer has not gone overboard and has limited herself to giving a light Latin touch to the song without compromising her essence.
Alexander and Randy Malcom are costing the international market and that thanks to their collaborations with Marc Anthony, Enrique Iglesias, Jennifer Lopez, Jesse and Joy and Laura Pausini, who have taken them beyond the borders of the Caribbean.
